Beach Biking

The sunset was really beautiful, but upon closer inspection, the profile of the bicyclist came into view. I decided to enhance the profile together with the bike path upon which he rode.

Sorry, but I forgot this artist's name. He's a local, so I'll run into him sooner or later. He makes beautiful sand sculptures on the fly, never knowing exactly what he might make that day.

Venice originally had an extensive canal network, but many have been filled and paved over. The ones that remain create a beautiful setting.

I've been getting some nice sunsets over the Santa Monica mountains. Friday was an awesome day with some puffy clouds earlier and pleasant temperatures. The overcast skies that are a feature of the month of June blew out earlier in the day as it had been a bit windy.

Lot's of mussels have washed up on the shore, drawing plenty of seagulls who are enjoying the feast. The wind has been making the waves crash over the rocks that protect the beach.
